|Diamonds: Stories of Women from the Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV|
This publication is a compilation of stories about the lives of women living with HIV. Through the personal narratives of ten women and one girl who have been affected by the disease, the publication highlights the link between gender-based discrimination, violence, and HIV/AIDS. Diamonds plots the key moments in the lives of these women, from diagnosis to the realization that their voice could be part of the change, highlighting each woman’s journey to empowerment. It can be used for advocacy, training, and education in the region. Additionally, the publication is accompanied by a documentary on four of these stories which will be available on UNIFEM’s You Tube Channel.
