The information can be used in a variety of health care settings by providers who regularly offer family planning services and by those who want to begin integrating contraceptive services with HIV treatment and care services. Specifically, the training materials for healthcare providers include information about contraceptives for clients with HIV, possible interactions between contraceptives and ARVs, decisions clients with HIV may have to make, and advice about how to counsel PLWHAs. Additional materials include a tools to assess knowledge gaps and achievements, fact sheets, handouts for group work, references and resources.
